Last week, I got pretty geeked up about a work project…..okay really geeked up!
If you’ve never used Snapchat, it’s basically an app that allows users to send photos (and text) for up to ten seconds and then it goes away forever (debatable, but go with it). This year, Snapchat added a feature called geofilters where users can add specific, location-based filters/images to a snap.
So I love Snapchat and think geofilters are probably the coolest feature in the app so I was pretty excited to work on geofilters for the Nuggets vs. Cavaliers game last Friday. Since I was in Dallas, I wasn’t around for the game, but below are a couple of screenshots from the Nuggets snapchat (follow them – @nuggets). I’m really happy with the way they turned out and thought it was a neat feature for a big game!
I’ve never worked on a project like this, so it was pretty exciting! I think it’s awesome that there are more and more ways to engage with fans through social media. Hopefully, I get to create some more geofilters for games in the future!
