Whether you like it or not, pumpkin/pumpkin spice everything is a thing. Personally, I wouldn’t mind if the world turned it down a notch (Pumpkin-Spice Pringles and Fettuccini I could live without). Pretty much if you can’t run from pumpkin spice, embrace it right?
My friends and I decided to have a Fall/Pumpkin Party earlier this week, hosted by the fabulous Charissa! Dinner included Pumpkin Quesadillas (so delish) and Sweet Potatoes Au Gratin (I plan on sharing my recipe soon!), along with chicken and salad to make it a “real” meal. There was also pumpkin dip, pumpkin loaf with pumpkin cream cheese and pumpkin cookies. And it wouldn’t be a dinner party without pumpkin beer and pumpkin cocktails. ALL PUMPKIN EVERYTHING!
The plan was also to carve pumpkins, but I think we were all pumpkin-ed out. It was definitely a great night with friends! Thanks again Charissa for being the “ghostest with the mostest”! Hope you all have a great, pumpkin-filled fall weekend!
